This 78 min video is the edit of an audiovisual performance made by Emil Bardh, Olof Schröder, Emmanuel and Jonatan Moreno at New Media Meeting 2009 using Ableton Live and Resolume.
Hear the image. See the sound. The video is the result of an experiment in letting audio and visual loops come together in a live performance. The concept is to allow sound and image to interact in order to create a synchronized experience.

This is absolutely brilliant!!! Im a vj and motion designer by trade and am always on the hunt for tasteful inspiration and this is by far one of the best examples of an audio visual performance that I have ever come across.. Incredible work! Subtle, minimal, and tasteful choice of geometry, colour, and music!! You definitely should be proud! :)

I love to enter the gray field with all its interference patterns at 50:50. Usually I do it at the 0.5 speed setting. The red field that follows is also a visual trip. // the sequence at the end is absolutely captivating (saving the best complex beat for last?): (1:10:40)

Hey man, it took some time digging trough files to find what we used for this. It's 3 different loops so there is no finished track jus this part you hear in the video. I can send you the loops if you want to make a longer version =)

The setup it's very clear. What I would like to know is what did they use to create the AVloops? Live execution and synch it's cool, however I think what makes this performance outstanding are the loops used.

so its "pre recorded", what software you guys used to produce the prerecorded material. VVVV, Processing, AE? im very curious about the workflow
All video was created with After Effects. All music was created with reason, ableton and some hardware. The video wasn't prerecorded, we mixed the videoloops (with audio) in Resolume3 (first version) live. This video is a edit of what we played live.

Yes, If its comerical and we dont get anything from it, if we get paid a bit it would be ok! If its non-comerical and one time use we probably would be OK with it but it depends from case to case, usualay ppl mail us and ask if they can use it or not and we take it from there..
