Fun story: I had a little girl ask me if I was a boy. I said no. Then she asked if I was a girl. I also said no. She then asked if I was a mommy or a daddy and I also responded with no. She finally said then you are a friend. And I was so touched by that. Love that kid.

On the "going on testosterone to be more feminine" one, I feel that bc I'm assuming they meant going on T to feel more comfortable being feminine, and I too wish my pink filled self would be seen more as a feminine guy and not as just someone who's conforming to my AGAB

My boyfriend straight up introduced me to people and went "she's my boyfriend" or "he's my girlfriend"!!! I'm gender fluid and this made me feel so good
Edit: I made this comment a year ago, and he dumped me 3 days ago
Keep that one.
Yo, I thought I was the only one that wanted someone to do that to me. "She's my boyfriend" just rings so true for me.
Omg, that's so sweet, I absolutely love that for you 💛
That's amazing! I'm writing about a couple -- one's Dotto, a genderfluid drag queen farmer, and the other is a gay man who's a diplomat and a history buff. Asran, the diplomat, started introducing his love like your boyfriend does ever since Dotto worked up the courage to tell him that drag was a lot more than just a fun performance for her.
He truly is worthy... this is what I want in a partner xD
Omg _“I thought life started at conception”_ is SUCH a good comeback against those people holy sh!t.
They’re using their own weapons against them and I am SO for it.
I'm a trans guy and I can totally relate to the "going on Testosterone to become more feminine" The more I pass as a man, the more comfortable I am with being feminine
You have no idea how much I relate to that.
Being a trans masc femboy is so hard
I want to be seen as a femboy not tomboy, important difference
I should be having chest surgery in next few months though and so excited to finally be able to wear crop tops (or nothing!) and skirts too
Thats awesome for you all.😁 I'm more of the path of masculine trans myself. Its cool to see some trans want to be fem.😁 There really are all sorts of paths. As long as your comfortable and confident in who you are.
That's exactly how I feel, I didn't think anyone else did, holy crap
Omfg… I just thought I wasn’t really a Transman/thought I was weird…. This is really freeing to read. :’)
"what's your gender?" "friend shaped" I have never actually heard a more perfect way to describe how I feel
lol, I think he said frinedship.
Mines definitely eneby shaped
The pure glee in that guys face when he said “I thought all life started at conception!”
Indeed
YES Nerdork is my favorite 😂
I've seen that clip so many times and it makes me so unreasonably mirthful every time. That guy is just out here to be a wholesome menace and he's spot on.
Just started T a couple weeks ago. Something I frequently say to try and explain it is, "The visual difference between a girly girl and a dude in a dress is my lack of a beard." I'm AFAB nonbinary, and the majority of my dysphoria is that no matter how I dress, nearly everyone looks at me and reflexively assumes I'm a woman. If I wear swooshy dresses, I'm seen as a girly girl. If I wear pants and a binder, I'm seen as a small-chested tomboy. But if I have a deeper voice, facial hair, and a dress w/o a binder on, that assumption doesn't work anymore. Am I a trans man who hasn't replaced their wardrobe yet? Am I a trans woman who hasn't shaved? Am I a cis man who enjoys wearing dresses? Nobody knows; I simply exist to confuse everyone :)
Inducing Gender Confusion is the ultimate power, the highest of honors for those bereft of the banality of gender dualism

Here’s a wholesome story: I told my piano teacher that I was non-binary, and she was so supportive that she asked me what pronouns she should use in front of my parents (she/her cuz of my dad). My piano teacher has been really supportive🙂

Same!
One time I was walking to the cafeteria with my friends in the morning before school started and someone came up to me asking if I was a boy or a girl, so I panicked, said "no thanks" and continued walking. I've been riding off that euphoria high ever since
Someone once complimented the name I chose irl, "That's a cool name and a cool way of spelling it." I think about it all that time
New gender dropped- "no thanks"
@@SingingWolf98 This is agender.
It works. I usually just neither.
@saraotto9593 As an agender person, I can confirm this
I love the whole discussion regarding "there's only one gender now". I saw a similar "argument" (no one was actually arguing, it was all just jokes) on one of Jammidodger's videos because someone said "Mom said it's my turn with the gender" so everyone else was asking for turns
Due to gender scarcity, chat had descended into mindless tribalism - creating their own myths and legends of the One True Gender.
Imagine your mom bursting into the room and shouting ,“That’s it! No more genders for anyone, ‘cause you clearly don’t know how to use ‘em!”
I love your little "*snorpt*" thing whenever you snort while you laugh
it kills me every time
Lol its so funny
Same. It's just so great.
I love your nickname and profile picture
@stop lgbt You cannot escape the queers. They will return. They will find you. They will avenge the flag. None shall disrespect the flag of the gods in such a way.
I explained gender to my parents with shoes. This was when they were first interacting with my brother's friend who is genderfluid. I explained it as "so you wear heels, and dad wears boots, and there's other kinds of shoes you wear like sandals and there's kinds of shoes dad wears like sandals and those sandals are dad's sandals or mum's sandals because of certain factors, but (friend name) just has... A closet. Full of shoes. All different kinds." And that was what helped them understand gender as a spectrum.
That's awesome!
Why does gender feel so simple and yet complicated at the same time? When I think about it all as shoes, then heck yeah I have a full closet full of shoes! But I also identify as a girl? I don't feel uncomfortable as a girl, but I know I also wouldn't feel uncomfortable as an enby? And I love men's wear, but I wouldn't feel uncomfortable as a man, but only if I know that I can then act and dress as a woman or other if I want to? What do I do when I'm fine being a woman, but my definition of woman is "my gender" and my gender is nonbinary? Ignore it, I guess, and go about my day because I'm happy. Almost happy. I need more waistcoats and suits.
@@lizzygabittydrawsTHIS EXACTLY OH MY GOD

Currently in the process of growing my hair out. It's dreadful. I don't pass at all anymore.
But it will be worth it once I get on T... I'll be the prettiest boy with the loveliest hair.

@@Schnort Men with long hair are 😘👌
Exactly! If I have a feminine body and wear feminine clothes, I just look like a woman, but if I have a masculine body and wear feminine clothes, I look androgynous- which is what I so desperately want. And I can't go for a feminine body and masculine clothes, because that will still register to people as a woman.

The dragons thing reminded me about something. I was practicing Welsh on DuoLingo and it asked me to translate 'Merch dw i'. It made me type 'I am a girl', and it made me feel icky. We can all have a frail moment, we can all feel in a bad spot, or stuck in our lives, or as if we are sinking...to reach out and say that we are not always feeling well is a very good first step, because it gives to some other people the possibility to reach out themselves and lend a hand...after all, we human beings are social animals, and we can empathize...
Sorry if I made any mistake, English is not my first language, and probably I am just blurbing out right now, since I have just woken up (lovely kitties running all over you, and jumping on your stomach as if it was a trampolin...), but I swear that I'm trying my best. If you feel like crying, allow yourself to do that, maybe searching first for a safe place where you can. Feel free to feel your emotions, all of them, because even in the darkest of moments they might help you out. Reach out whenever you need help, I am so damn sure that a lot of people, even more qualified than me, will do their best to help you. Drink water, have plenty of sleep, have a walk when you can (extra points if you can take it in some place natural or green), take care of yourself as you would take care of your best friend if they were feeling down, allow yourself to indulge in some self care, and remember that if some total stranger was able to show love to you, you deserve to be loved. I have a friend who's a bit older than me and I've taught her a lot about LGBT+ topics. She has taken to calling my dead name my "not name" and I love it so much because it de-powers it and represents my relationship with it really well. Dead name has always felt a tad serious for me, and I really love this silly little term for those of us who don't hate the old name, just can't and won't wear it anymore.
This cheered me up some. I needed this. 💜
Female stuff decided to happen without my consent and im just a potato in genderless sweat pants being in pain from the female thing.
Why couldn’t I have been born physically non-binary?! Im too freaking poor for surgeries!!
I feel your pain..I long for a body without gender
I have always wanted to be a shapeshifter. If I could have only one of the seemingly infinite universe of magical powers that exist across all works of fiction, it would be shapeshifting. Specifically, a psychically-driven form that requires no materials or special techniques and which reshapes my body according to my thoughts. How wonderful that would be!
It is truly non-binary culture to wish for shapeshifting powers. It is also nonbinary culture to forget to select “gender” options when they’re idiotically phrased as “male/female” (which are bio words and also not enough choices).
I don't really know what to say to help but, you got this friend

Just in case anybody wonders: Necronyms do already have a meaning (doesn't mean they can't have two) - it is the term for giving a child the same name as a deceased relative (often an earlier infant from the same parents) under the expectation that the soul of that person will be reborn in the new baby. Just from my own family tree, this was pretty common in the UK and Ireland in the 17th and 18th centuries, where some of my ancestors had up to 4 sons all called 'William' to replace the previous child that died young.
Meaning these Necromancers are sacrificing the souls of a new born in the attempt to capture a dead persons soul in the body...
Atleast they understand equivalent exchange...
19:14 Quick little English lesson because I know some people struggle with this - perfectly fine btw, English is hard.
They're is the abbreviation of "they are", so it would be used in sentences like _"they're_ nonbinary", the short version of _"they are_ nonbinary". "Their" is used for people as well, but isnt the abbreviation of they are. Its often used when referring to something somebody owns, for example "someone left _their_ wallet".
"There" is used for places, for example _"there's_ a thing" or "right _there_ is where this is". Hope this helps anyone who struggles with this stuff or are still learning English ^^

Oh Hey Landsperson!🤗
the one at 16:30 gets to me. I've been meeting this lady at the job every couple of days, and just now learned that she's a very important states regulatory person who could stop the company I work at if they wanted to (read as in "if I don't comply with her wishes on how to name cells in excell sheets, someone will be fired"). I knew her name, and I knew her face, I did not know they belong together.
I asked my friend to be my platonic valentine monday and now we call each other 'my love'. Best things about it is both of us are on the arospectrum.
Edit: today she asked me a gender neutral term for "my lord" or "my lady" since we were speaking (and probably butchering) scottish accents. Another area where "my love" works perfectly.
That's adorable. :) Following the etymology, "my lord" would be a suitable gender-neutral term, but modern context does tend to add extra weight.
I think "my liege" could work as well, but yours is infinitely more affectionate than any archaic "noble" title
There is also a Scottish word "laird", which can mean lord but is also used when referring to the holder of a title like that when you don't know/don't want to specify whether the current title holder is a lord or a lady, but my liege is a solid option tbh
I celebrated Valentine's Day by writing a new chapter for this romance story that i have. And I received two Valentine's Day gifts: the first one was actually the day before when a friend took me manga shopping at a store he likes that I never knew existed, and the second was when he told me he was retroactively calling that an early Valentine's gift so I did not need to worry about paying him back. I have shared this information with my family (3 people). Two of those people are unsure if I'm in a relationship with him now. *sigh*

Thank you OT, your videos helped me realize that that I’m trans (mtf). I’ve always been a little bit queer, but you made me see myself for who I really am. You also gave me the courage to come out to my family and friends. So again, thank you, I couldn’t have done it without you.

9:15 Pokémon Crystal Clear! If you like early pokemon, I ABSOLUTELY recommend it - it's a revamp of Crystal with a more open world, huge roster of available starting Pokemon, ability to pick your hometown, and a lot of new places and things to explore!
The Monopoly guy doesn't have a monocle. It's and example of the Mandela effect.
On the topic of Bowie, when the audience laughed at his intro, he looked absolutely fuming at them
istg whenever that image is posted somewhere I still see people comment things like "he was clearly joking", "he didn't mean it like that", "he was obviously high" and I'm like: my dudes, that's the person who wrote the lyrics "you got your mother in whirl, she's not sure if you're a boy or a girl". And the best part is that it's never clarified what the gender of the person he's talking to is, because that's the whole point of the song

Funny thing, I once wanted ideas bc my dad let me name one of his cow calves, and let me tell you, searching for pet names with specifics (like "names for pets that relate to red" which was what I did, bc of the fur colour) gives you so many cool name ideas that are imo genderless, like I'm not NB and I was still like, that sounds like a cool ass name!
Hi, I'm replying to this 4 months after you posted it, so I was wondering: how's the name hunt going?
Explaining my gender as "I want to turn into 70's David Bowie", is how I'm doing it from now on. 🤣 Especially since, even though I didn't know it then, me getting my outfit-ideas, from a variety of male glam-rock icons, was probably my awakening. 🤣
As a general rule, kids understand gender and sexuality when you explain it to them. Really hoping we keep progressing like this and helping make the world a more accepting place.
Thanks for the video OT!
3:09 im nonbinary and one of the reasons i want testosterone is so i can wear feminine clothes while not being dysphoric and not getting misgendered. dont know if thats what theyre talking about but 💅
9:53 as a nonbinary person and tech nerd, I can confirm that i would be extremely scared to have ones and zeroes (binary code) imprinted on my pillows and blankets.

Alabama is “ncest”
@@snakeorbreak6258 I feel like it's true OT to ignore it if he did notice, but that was the first thing I thought of when I remembered that map. Part of me was hoping he'd just call it "labama" anyway, but too many good ones otherwise in the first place.
I was reading a book about language for my psychology final project and came across a line that went something like "I speak Italian to women, French to men, and German to my horses" and I think it's *almost* sad how fast I went, out loud, "AH YES, THE THREE GENDERS"
Me, a non-binary my little pony fan with an alicorn oc non-binary pony mare: I feel kinda called out, ngl. Y'all. There is one solution to the gendering in bathrooms. It won't matter if you actually make the stalls with PRIVACY in mind. Looking at you, United States. Or rather, not looking, because the doors don't cover up enough. If the doors and walls actually went all the way to the ground, and the walls kept out the sound of the people around you, you wouldn't have to worry about who's in the bathroom with you!
As a nonbinary person who has not came out yet these make me happy and make me laugh
(1 month later i am now a demigirl)
Any updates

Thanks for the great video. The Dream Daddy stream was really fun too !

9:54 Depending on the dress, I like the way the top of the dress hugs my chest while keeping "everything", in place.
I like that ones with those multiple thin layers keep me cool when it's hot.
Accessibility when using the bathroom.
The fact that it's a single piece of clothing.
Etc.
But you know, those people aren't going to say anything when someone is wearing pants which, depending on where you live, was considered for males only.
Tru, not identifying with a gender doesn't mean you can't appreciate presenting with femininity or masculinity. Spectrum baby! 💛🤍💜🖤

The "I want to transition to 1970s David Bowie" hit so hard. I was recently styling my hair that way (until it grew out a little too long) and I'm literally going to dress as Ziggy Stardust for Halloween lol
Holy Shit. OT reacted to my meme!!!

Thank you OT! The way in which you present these memes is so uplifting.
I relate so much to the "change when touched" one. I'm gender-fluid, and pansexual.
Also I am more attracted to people's brains and personality and the connection we have than bodies. That might put me somewhere demisexual on a spectrum but I'm not sure. I've still got a lot to figure out. Your videos help me put names to feelings and experience I have but did not have the language to describe. That is so important! This community is lovely too.
