Well, I haven't watched the anime, but I won't deny that haha. Still, the manga doesn't have that many chapters, so it's really weird they adapted it. They could've adapter other yaoi manga with no adaptation that had a good story and were equally hot. |

Although I do find Junjou Romantica to be more atleast tolerable than YBC. One of the reasons being that the most of the characters are minors and the pedo teacher and some other problematic stuff that just put me off. And I’m also not a huge of overly sexual stuff. Either way. I’m not saying that Junjou Romantica is any better. It also has some equally problematic elements. One of them being rapey, and also some of the characters having a huge gap. Either way, I don’t like both of them. And we all have different opinions. I respect yours. |

| Whenever I see things like YBC it reminds me of why I was always more impressed by yuri than yaoi. Ofc there’s some yuri that are awful and there are some yaoi that are very well written but in general it seems to me that yuri is usually better written and with more developed characters and actually reasonable and decent storylines, and less of the nightmare fuel that is YBC. |

| Love Stage, Dakaichi or Junjou Romantica are all BL. Yaribu is yaoi. The name “yaoi” is an acronym of the phrase “YAma nashi, Ochi nashi, Imi nashi” (“no climax, no punch line, no meaning”) The characters are more three-dimensional in the manga, but it's still mostly smut. I don't really read Yaribu for the plot lol, so I LOVED the OVA. |
