 This is a social deduction game in which the players must discuss with eachother and use all their deduction and/or deception skills in order to win. Mafia Society is a club dedicated to host games like this one, mostly the ever popular game Mafia, which this game is a shortened variation of. If you like this game, you should consider joining our community :D Phases: Night | Day | Game End Game Overview Every player is given a random role from the setup, such as Seer, Werewolf or Tanner. The game begins with a Night phase lasting 24 hours, where special roles can do their actions. Some of the special roles then receive a PM from me, with results from their actions and the Day phase begins. The players will now discuss who they believe to be the werewolves. All players may say anything and as such, the werewolves might want to claim a different role, so they wont be lynched. The players vote for who they think should be lynched and they do this by sending me a PM with the players name. The game ends when all players have sent their votes or when the Day phase has lasted 5 days, whichever comes first. The player with most votes will then be lynched. If it's a tie, nobody will be lynched. Game End After just 1 night and 1 day... The village team wins: 1) If at least one Werewolf dies. 2) If no one is a Werewolf and no one dies. The werewolf team only win if no Werewolves are killed and only if the Tanner isn't killed either. Setup The setup consist of 12 roles, but there are only 9 players. That means there will be 3 random roles that are not in use and that it is possible that none of the players are werewolves! The setup consist of the following roles Sign up To sign up for this game, use the following format: [b]Join: (Username)[/b] When the sign-up list has been filled, the game will begin shortly after. Night A long time ago in a galaxy far far away the Resistance was fighting a brave war against the Galactic Empire. The young Luke Skywalker was living a peaceful life with his aunt and uncle on Tatooine. However, while he was sleeping that peaceful life he had grown so accustomed to was coming to an end. Vile and dangerous alien beasts were lurking in the darkness and only few of the townspeople were awake at this hour and no one could anticipate the horrors that were about to take place... Day Just watch the video till 3:04... Devastated and alone Luke Skywalker then walked into town to tell everyone what had happened. He and the rest of the town wanted revenge on whoever was the true culprit! They decided to vote for whom they thought were most suspicious among them. This caused a discussed so big, that it lasted 5 days. When you are ready, send me a PM with who you want to vote for. You may change your vote until everyone has voted or the deadline has been reached. When that happens the game will end and the player with most votes will be lynched. | This game is so dead! @CorruptedPurity a mass claim is not a bad idea but we have two problems: we don't know if the werewolves know the unused roles so they can fakeclaim and second the fun dies if we do it lol. I'm worry that nobody is talking because we can win this thing in a heartbeat if everyone shares information but this thread is dead D: Knowing Zymf I think we are dealing with one ww/ one minion this time. So we need to be on the look out for people defending others. |
| Hello hello hello ! Rip this thread lol, I was worried I'd miss a lot since I wasn't here earlier but I guess not.. That's okay though, I'm going to revive this, somehow. About claiming, it's not just a good idea, it's practically mandatory. There is only one (1) of each town role in the game (except masons but that doesn't count), meaning that by massclaiming we force the wolves to claim roles that they don't know are safe. If there are any discrepancies, that really narrows down our search ! I'll wait until everyone checks in then start the massclaim asap. |

Was Tanner but I didn't know that Robber switched with me and the Robber ended up winning. :( Point is, I'm pretty sure Zymf have tested this setup a lot of times and I doubt it's a any less tricky for any roles. I was considering option 2 and 3 too, for 2 I was thinking, if you want to make the list you have to claim first, and option 3 seems pretty random, from 1 - 9 or reverse 9 - 1 so yah which one should we do, both seem ok to me but maybe 3 is a little bit safer |

| So since everyone is okay with a mass claim let me say I'm mason with RE1031 but we don't have a club or anything ( I even asked Zymf if maybe I didn't get the invite lol) so we only know that we can trust each other and that we are town. @Togs I thought that Zymf could choose what roles he wanted in play and then give them at random. Also I think that the wolves not knowing any of the unused roles or having no way to survive in a mass claim scenario is too unbalance. |
